On November 27th, 2021, Wehpa will be presenting the Raised By Latinos party at The Historic El Mocambo. The event will be jammed packed with international recognized local Latino Artists. Raised By Latinos is a Toronto Streetwear movement Co-founded by Victor Henry Ramirez and Evelyn Lopez. Their mission is to increase Latino representation worldwide and to connect with conscious minded and inclusive people.
The night will kick off with up-and-coming artist Markus Azeriah. Shortly after, Altur Santos will take to the stage, followed by Kadel, Looch Bodega, and the featured artist La Firma Santa. The party will continue with Dj Grouch, Dj Casilimas and Dj Easy El Dee.
This is a historical moment for the Latino Community in Toronto and would not be possible without Michael Wekerle. Michael Wekerle is championing Diversity and Inclusion by hosting Wehpa and Raised by Latinos, who are featuring Latino artists.
We hope this to be the beginning of Wehpa and RBL events at the El Mocambo, a place where diverse music culture such as Latin Trap, Latin Urban, Hip Hop, Rap, Reggaeton, (and more) that is emerging from Toronto can be showcased. La Firma Santana @lafirmasantana
Cesar Acosta Santana, better known in the musical environment as La Firma Santana, was born on July 19, 1991, in Cali, Colombia. That was where he lived most of his childhood until his family decided to emigrate to Atlanta, GA in the United States where his passion for music began. In 2007, Cesar arrived in Toronto, Canada where he decided to take music seriously and professionally with Ricky Taco, who would become his manager and representative at the national and international level. His career would take a drastic change when, after several negotiations, he signed a record contract with La Makinaria, a company from Puerto Rico, which would catapult the artist’s career internationally. His most recent single, Bella, has notably surpassed his digital downloads after his first single Amor De Colegio, a song written by himself and produced by renowned Colombian producer Saga White Black. Sencillo was a radio success in much of the United States, Europe, South America and Canada. La Makinaria manages to assemble the remix of Amor De Colegio with the renowned international artist “Farruko” under the production of Sharo Torres, making it an international hit, surpassing digital downloads and followers notably. La Firma is currently preparing for the 2019 promotional tours in different countries of the world and continues to work most of its productions in the city of Toronto, Canada.

Cadel González born July 07, 1994, in Bayamo Granma, better known as Kadel. He is a singer, composer, and music producer who is based out of Toronto, Canada. As a music producer, he has created his sound, vibe, colour, vision, and music influences, ultimately achieving his own personal style. It has allowed him to connect with other artists and has created countless musical productions for artist such as: Chris Tamayo, J Alvarez, El Chulo, La Firma Santana, Kendaya and Jonna Torres.
Looch Bodega @loochbodega
is a Dominican artist who operates from Toronto, at the early age of 22 he began in urban music venturing into the genre of Rap / HipHop and Trap, it was not until after several years that he began to work a little more in commercial music, which was the one that has given him the success he has achieved until today. If you want to enjoy good Rap / HipHop you have the alternative of Looch Bodega as well as the African genre (Afrobeat) mixed with the Latin essence!

a Dominican-born and raised musician who comes from an extremely musical family, where music, naturally, has become his way of life, working to define himself as a Latin Artist with his unique vocals. His consistent passion and love for music are visibly shown in his presence and energy.
Markus Azeriah @markusazeriah
is a Latino singer/song-writer from Toronto’s West End. He started performing from a young boy and attended a performing arts school which further developed his passions for the arts. His musical influences are 90s era music and R&B. Markus Azeriah lives in Toronto with his Mom, Dad, and younger brother. His latest single “The Way You Move” is available on all platforms.
DJ Grouch @djgrouch
Born in Panama, the Toronto native has always been around music. He has performed with various Canadian and international artists, traveling across North America (Canada and the U.S.) and Europe. With over 30 years of experience, Grouch has played in almost every club and venue in Toronto. He has been a special guest DJ on several occasions at the Raptor’s halftime show. He is currently the DJ for Maestro Fresh Wes and Fito Blanko and is part of Toronto’s spanglish Hip Hop group, Los Poetas. As of late his main focus has been on his production skills, releasing various edits, remixes and original tracks under the name, Grizart.
Grouch has been teaching the art of DJing for over 15 years. He is currently an instructor at the Trebas Institute, Regent Park School of Music, Remix Project, 4sound Music, Play De Record and is a mainstay in Toronto’s nightlife.

Started at the age of 15 helping my uncle which was a known Latin DJ in the Latin community. Had a successful Friday night gig at Valdez/Baro for 6 yrs called loco Fridayz. Main Dj at the first ever Latin sparks festival. Over 3000 ppl were in attendance. Have DJ at all Latin venues in the GTA. Had the pleasure of dj’ing alongside some big DJs. Eazy El Dee @eazyeldee
held a wekly Saturday night residency for over a year inside Montreal’s notorious bar “En Cachette” who unfortunately closed its doors December 2016. He is now available to offer you his dj services on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. Eazy is well known for his open format style of dj’ing. His talent permits him to flow and mix smoothly between genres creating a unique musical vibe to the listener. Whether it’s new or old school jams he’s got you covered with anything ranging from hip hop, r&b, reggae and dancehall to his original Latin roots.
